Update a Network Profile

Network Profiles are part of the overall Machine Pool Revision and will be rolled out as described in Machine Pool Upgrades.

Since changes to the Network Profile may affect multiple Clusters or Machine Pools, you have multiple options to ensure a controlled rollout:

• Save Network Profile A new Network Profile Revision is created, but the changes will not affect any Machine Pools just yet. Use to prepare changes or save drafts.
• Save & Propagate Network Profile A new Network Profile Revision is created and propagated, meaning a new pending Machine Pool Revision is created on all dependent Machine Pools. Rollout happens only after the new Machine Pool Revision is applied by a future Machine Pool Upgrade. Use to selectively roll out changes to some Machine Pools and their Machines before others or schedule rollout for the next maintenance window.
• Propagate & Apply Network Profile A new Network Profile Revision is created, propagated and all created Machine Pool Revisions are applied. This results in all assigned Machines rebooting as detailed in Machine Pool Upgrades, after which they will use the new network configuration. Use to instantly roll out networking changes.
