Enable High Availability

Spreads the Foundry and its database and object storage over the Nest Instances, so it keeps working when one of them is down.
Prerequisites
- At least three Nest Instances with status Ready, see Create Nest Instance
- For Multi-zone: the Nest Instances are in at least two Zones
- The Nest is healthy and no update, join, reset or rebalance is running
Enable High Availability
- Navigate to Admin settings → Foundry → Actions → Enable high availability
- Select the High availability mode:

| Multi-instance | Survives the loss of one Nest Instance |
| Multi-zone | Survives the loss of a Zone |
- Click Enable
The Foundry shows Enabling while the operation runs, then the mode. The mode cannot be changed afterwards.
