Scale In the Nest

Use this to remove Nest Instances the Nest no longer needs. This is needed if you want to reduce Nest capacity or when Replacing Nest Instances.

Remove a Nest Instance

1. Reset the Nest Instance.
2. Delete it.
3. Rebalance the Foundry, if it is highly available.

To remove several, repeat the steps for one instance at a time.

WARNING

The Nest can scale in to two Nest Instances; be aware that this should only be done temporarily, since losing another instance would cause a loss of etcd quorum.
